So, I am not the crafty type person. I try, oh how I try, but my talents just don't fall in this category.
Well, with Father's Day coming up, my daughter and I had to figure out what to get for my husband. You can only buy so many golf balls, golf clubs, golf shoes, golf...........well, you get the picture. I wanted this Father's day gift to be more personal, more about what our daughter can give to her father, not what I can buy in a store. I had no idea what I was going to do until I came across Keeping it Simple. She had the cutest idea for a handmade t-shirt. Well, I was inspired.........(you will be too if you visit her blog, she has a lot of fun ideas!)
So, I bought a t-shirt from Marshalls for $2.99 (how is that for a bargain) and some fabric paint and told my daughter we were going to make daddy a special t-shirt. She had SO MUCH FUN doing this shirt, that I think I may make it a Father's Day tradition. And how cute to see the progression of her hand prints and her artistic abilities as the years go by.
So, here it is.....................TA DA!!!!!
I hope everyone has as wonderful a day as we're about to have.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
