How often should you shampoo?

How often you shampoo depends upon your scalp, not your hair. If it's oily, or if you have dandruff or other issues, washing daily may be helpful. You also may want to shampoo more often in summer. Otherwise, you can probably get away with as little as once a week. If you're a daily washer, then it's hard to go that long without washing because you've become accustomed to stripping your scalp everyday, so build up slowly. Try every other day and then every 3rd day, etc. etc.. You will be doing your hair a big favor (and your looks) if you skip the daily washing.
